4 years experience as a classroom teacher, tutored for Spoon River College's Academic Success Center for three years, presently tutoring for WyzAnt tutoring service and Care.com, with multiple references and testimonials. I enjoy tutoring because I have a firm belief that all students can learn if we utilize the proper strategies. I am currently tutoring a 2nd grader with ADHD, a first grader with dyslexia, a 6th grader transferring out of state needing to qualify for advancement, an 8th grader needing remedial development with all facets of Language Arts, a kindergarten student needing help with emergent literacy skills, and a 4th grader who is exhibiting oppositional defiant behaviors. I love teaching.
